Which Is Longer: HBO’s New Mini-Series, Pacific, or My Interview With Nia Shanks?

Share This:

Not long ago, I did an interview with personal trainer, and resident fat loss guru, Nia Shanks. Nia has quickly grown to be one of my favorite people in the industry due to her no-nonsense approach, and for the fact that she’s not afraid to go against the grain and tell women (and men for that matter) that it’s okay to lift heavy shit. I mean, just watch this clip of her deadlifting 305 lbs (from earlier this week).

I love how she throws the bar down at the end. The only way that could have been more bad-ass is if she did that right next to some dude doing bicep curls in the squat rack, or better yet, if she walked over and punched a grizzly bear in the throat.

In any case, Nia contacted me last week and asked whether or not I’d be willing to return the favor, and do an interview for her blog. Of course, I said yes.

Little did I know, however, that Nia decided to turn my interview into a four-part series. I guess I’m a little long-winded. Nevertheless, I think it’s one of the better interviews I’ve done, and if you happen to be bored at work today, I’d encourage you to check it out. I promise I actually have some important stuff to say.

Part I

Part II

PS: The last two parts haven’t been published yet, but I’ll give everyone a head’s up next week when they’re available.

Plus, get a copy of Tony’s Pick Things Up, a quick-tip guide to everything deadlift-related. See his butt? Yeah. It’s good. You should probably listen to him if you have any hope of getting a butt that good.

I don’t share email information. Ever. Because I’m not a jerk.
