A Little Dose of Vitamin Awesome to Start the Week

Here’s me this past Saturday hitting a 20 lb PR – 570 lbs at a body weight of 190 (taken first thing in the AM).

Looking at it again, I probably had more in me, but I was happy with it. At 3x bodyweight, I certainly can’t complain. And, for the record, I have no idea where the whole “throwing the bar down and raising my arms” thing came from. I’m surprised I didn’t throw out the jazz hands, or I don’t know, moonwalk across the floor instead.

I guess the best way I can explain it is that when you have an angry George Abele screaming and throwing fake haymakers in your face, the bad-ass factor goes up about ten points. Speaking of which, has anyone seen my blankie?
