2nd Place is the First Loser: CP Guest Blog

First off, it seems yesterday’s blog has caused quit a stir – to the point where I’ve had my most successful day yet in terms of total number of visitors to the site. Welcome to those who have no idea who I am! Take a seat, relax, and stay a while.

In all honestly, I was pretty taken aback by some of the comments left yesterday being critical of the ad. I mean, it’s Nike for crying out loud. Of course they’re going to promote an athletic looking woman. And, as Laura M noted (in the comments section), the woman pictured in the ad has an ass because she WORKS OUT. That’s the point. This isn’t to knock those who appreciate the curves of a woman that come from alternative lifestyle choices, but as she also pointed out, Nike is not in the fat acceptance business. It’s in the FITNESS business.

Nonetheless, I still feel the ad sends a great message to women, and they should be applauded for it. What’s more, if anyone from Nike wants to send me a complementary pair of Nike Frees for the increased publicity, I wouldn’t be opposed to it.

Secondly, I’m starting my move to the new apartment today. And, because I pretty much hate life at the moment, I’m not writing a new blog today. Instead, I’m handing over the reigns to Pete Dupuis – Vice President of Cressey Performance – who wrote an awesome blog detailing just some of the shenanigans that occur almost on a weekly basis between some of our clientele. Enjoy!

While 9 out of 10 people aware of the race assumed that Henry would win convincingly, Bill claimed a resounding victory despite pulling up lame as he crossed the finish line.

Plus, get a copy of Tony’s Pick Things Up, a quick-tip guide to everything deadlift-related. See his butt? Yeah. It’s good. You should probably listen to him if you have any hope of getting a butt that good.

I don’t share email information. Ever. Because I’m not a jerk.
