I’ve got nuthin for you today except this hilarious picture a CP client sent me, and a few things to read to keep you from jumping out of your office window. Enjoy!

ABC News and Creatine – Chris Shugart

I’m sure by now, many of you have heard the story about 13 high school football players who were hospitalized not too long ago, suffering from what’s known as compartment syndrome. Not surprisingly, the media has latched on to the notion that, of all things, creatine was the culprit – not the idiotic coaching staff that made the entire team train in 115 degree conditions with access to little or no water.

Thankfully, t-nation editor Chris Shugart came to the rescue and wrote this little retort.

Progressive Set, Rep, and Loading Protocols to Use on the “Big Basic” Exercises – PJ Striet

if you don’t increase your strength by at least 46.96% after reading this post, then I don’t know what to say. I’ve written on this topic in the past (here and here), but PJ basically bitch slaps me into oblivion with this doozy. Awesome stuff.

Your Q’s: Caffeine, Calluses, Tabata, and Shin Splints – Jen Sinkler

Experience Life Magazine fitness editor, Jen Sinkler just launched her inaugural Q and A section where she, along with the help of some other fitness professionals, answers people’s questions, like:

– why is Keanu Reeves still employed?

– who would win in a steel-cage fight to the death: a rabid grizzly bear or my abs?

– Jessica Biel or Jessica Alba?

Okay, in all seriousness, Jen has done a fantastic job with this new column, and you can look forward to some of the top names in the industry giving their two cents on a variety of topics. Also, word on the street is that a certain someone who’s blog you’re reading right now may or may not be making a cameo appearance in the near future. SPOILER ALERT: I totally am.
